My son, Alex Daniel, is a running back at Roswell High School in Roswell, GA. Alex began working with Mike Berringer and Rapid when he was in the 7th grade playing middle school football. We worked out a program where Alex and several of our other skill players worked with Mike and his staff on speed, agility, explosiveness and all around endurance. It was obvious the impact that the weekly workouts were having with the group as compared to the other players. Alex has continued to work with Mike and his staff on speed and agility. Lately, we have started to place emphasis on the basic skills associated with football combines (shuttle run, 40 time, vertical jump). Last year, Alex moved his 40 time from 4.64 to 4.46. His shuttle time at a college camp this year was the top score of the session and his vertical leap has improved from 27" to 31". I am confident that we can improve these numbers even more during this off season.
Mike and the Rapid Performance staff are true professionals in their business and can manage the workout routine based on the individual’s skills sets, football position and personal needs. I am sure that Alex will continue to work with the Rapid team even after his high school football career.

Nick has been working with Mike for a number of years. Only this year (his junior year) was stressed with more importance as Nick was gearing up for combines and camps that would test his speed and agility. Mike has a strong reputation for decreasing 40 times, and the Pro Shuttle. We knew scores were important to potential colleges that might look at Nick and I wanted the best in the business to work with my son.
Mike taught Nick the correct 3 point stance for maximum starting power and continually worked with him on the importance of the 1st initial 10 yds of the 40 yd dash. With the use of resisted and assisted sprint techniques, Nick dropped his time considerably. Nick continues to work out with Mike and will stay with him to better his scores for his senior year of Football and Baseball.
Nick’s scores before working with Mike this year are as follows:
40yd – 4.78sec
5-10-5 Pro Shuttle – 4.40sec
Vertical Jump – 28.5”
L-Cone – 7.3sec
Nick’s scores after approximately 6 months of training with Mike:
40yd – 4.54sec
5-10-5 Pro Shuttle – 4.1-4.2 (depending on surfaces)
Vertical Jump – 32”
L-Cone – 6.9
I highly recommend Mike Berenger and his Staff at Rapid Sports Performance. They take on a personal interest seeing that the athletes better themselves and work as hard as they can to improve their scores. Mike will even call Nick from time to time to ensure that he is working at these things.

Sincerely,
Bruce Hicks

Dear Rapid
As you can see from the video, we are involved in a pretty unusual form of motorcycle competition called Observed Trials. Will is a professionally ranked national trials rider, having been crowned as the #1 Youth rider in America, and represented the USA in international trials competitions in Spain, Italy, France, and Germany.
The goal in trials competition is to negotiate extremely rugged terrain on a specialized motorcycle. Like golf, where least strokes wins, so also in trials, the rider who touches their foot down the least amount of times in a 7 hour competition wins. Riders have to climb such obstacles as 8” vertical walls, Volkswagen-sized boulders, fallen redwood trees, steep, long hills, and even flowing waterfalls – in weather ranging from snow or desert or downpour conditions.
The sport requires significant endurance, amazing balance, cat-like agility, hair-trigger command of aggressiveness and finesse, along with sheer testosterone.
We consider the training we received from Rapid to be a critical component of Will’s competitive advantage. We were introduced to Rapid’s state-of-the-art type training in Barcelona, where 100% of the world-ranked trials riders are involved in the same type of training.
The professional trainers at Rapid have created customized training to help Will improve his balance, reflexes, strength, agility, and confidence on the motorcycle. We have been delighted with the creativity, energy, and enthusiasm of these guys! After personally training with them now for 1.5 years, I can confidently say that everyday is different- they work hard at stripping the monotony out of physical training- but keeping the results in. Will is faster, stronger, can jump higher, has substantially improved balance, more confidence, greater agility, a higher degree of protection from injury, and greater endurance than when we started training.
We wholeheartedly recommend Rapid for serious athletes in any form of sporting competition.

I have only been working out at Rapid for 6 short weeks, but in that time I have developed a great deal as an athlete. Through my sessions with David, we have focused on leg power and core strength, and I believe this has benefited me greatly as a tennis player. I feel stronger and better conditioned on the court. I look forward to continued success with David and the people at Rapid. I highly recommend them to anyone who aspires to become a better athlete.

My experience at Rapid has been a positive one. Through complex leg workouts, along with equipment like the Vertimax, My leg power has improved tremendously. Not only was I able to improve leg power but upper body workouts on the Keiser were very beneficial to my arm strength. Overall, I feel Rapid Sports Performance has better prepared me for the speed and strength training that is demanded from a D-1 athlete.

Our daughter Amanda began coming to Rapid in January 2006. Amanda had done speed and agility training with another company in the Roswell area, and we were not especially pleased and saw little results. However, her high school soccer team was working with Rapid before the start of the season, so she began training and working with Mike. She and we have been very pleased. She loves working with Mike. Not only does he make it fun, he teaches her proper techniques to ensure that she does not injure herself, and he is instructing her on good nutrition for maximum performance on the soccer field. She is getting stronger which is evident on the field of play, she no longer gets pushed around by larger players. She has always had good speed, but her explosive speed on the field has improved, as well as her quickness in changing direction.
Amanda has already committed to play college soccer, and she will continue to train at Rapid until that time. It is truly making a difference, and most importantly, she loves it.

I've been playing baseball my whole life and began preliminary strength training at age 14. I was involved in a good general program but wasn't getting enough out of it and wanted more individual attention. I wanted a program that I knew was being used by major D1 colleges and the pros. Mike Berenger and Rapid was the answer. They dramatically increased my overall body strength and weight. I learned how to correctly use free weights and other state of the art equipment that is mandatory at the next level. I highly recommend Rapid to anyone interested in maximizing their potential and playing beyond high school. Together we implemented a program that I am using at the University of Texas.

Dear Mike,
Here's a note that I hope will make you happy. Of course, you know that after only three months of speed and agility training at Rapid, Christian dropped nearly 4 tenths off his 40 yard dash time. This result alone should serve as a tribute to your training principles, and yet I have more news to share!
Christian, an eighth grader, made the JV baseball team at Pace and has started every game to date. He is among the leaders of the team with one of the highest batting averages, highest on base percentage, and the most stolen bases currently. His coach has pointed out recently that he is among the top three fielders on the team as well. I know the season is young, but he is proving that he can compete with bigger, stronger boys. Christian has enjoyed the fruits of his labor and is eager to train with you again this summer.
I don't know if you realize how much you have impacted our family. Christian is not only stronger and quicker, he is confident. Your training programs are interesting and fun, as well as highly effective. You are a gifted teacher, but perhaps, more importantly, your approach to working with people is what makes you unique. You are personally invested in the success of every client and we know it! You're attentive to your clients during workouts as depicted by your constant corrections and direct assistance. Your sincere concern is also obvious. I cannot tell you how it impresses us when you call to check on Christian after a particularly hard workout session!
I am grateful to the enormous contributions of time you make in your own continuing education as training principles and methods continue to evolve. You pour your heart and soul into making Rapid great. Thank you for everything.
Sincerely,
Antoinette Datoc
"Working with Mike Berenger helped me develop all areas of my game. Not only was I able to run faster, but my bat speed, throwing velocity and fielding range all increased. We worked hard on specific movement skills that eliminated a lot of wasted movements. As a result, my crossover step is much more efficient, and my first step out of the batter's box is explosive. I'm confident that I'm in the condition I need for Spring Training, 2005. I look forward to continuing my development with Rapid at the close of the season."

As a club, we firmly believe it is in our player's best interest to use Rapid's training to enhance their speed, agility and coordination. We have seen nothing but improved, positive results in our players that participate in Rapid training. We have had entire teams (U10 through U19) participate in sessions all at once, as well as smaller groups for a more personal level of training. Our players enjoy training in their state-of-the-art facility with their professional, knowledgeable staff.

"As a former student in exercise physiology, college coach, and current sports agent, my mindset has always been geared to specific training techniques. When I met Mike Berenger, I realized I had found one of those unique resources to aid my clients and our business. With Rapid, I have seen the benefits of proper training as my clients have improved their speed, quickness, agility and coordination. Obviously these all equate to performance enhancement and a better chance at making it to the Major League level.
Having a son most recently coming up through the high school ranks, we were looking for the same benefits to enhance his chances of playing at the collegiate level and eventually the professional level. In the first three months, Mike helped my son improve his 60 yd. dash times from 7.8 to 7.16 electronically timed. His body control, balance and quickness developed as well. He was able to use those gains to take his game to the next level."

Dear Rapid,
I just wanted to drop you a note commenting on the speed and agility improvement my son Danny has experienced since working with your company. When he started with Rapid last July, he really struggled with his top end speed in the 40 yard dash and his lateral movement. Your training program has improved his running form, vertical jump, explosiveness, and leg strength. The overall improvement in Danny's performance and confidence in football & baseball has been exceptional. It is like seeing a different player on the field!
In addition, the personal attention given by Mike Berenger and Bobby Smith demonstrates your company's passion to develop each student to their highest potential. Thank you.
Sincerely,
