Mike Berenger - Founder and Director of Performance
BS, NASM PES, NASM CPT, NSCA CPT, SPARQ
Mike has earned the reputation as one of the best performance trainers in the Atlanta area by helping athletes get stronger, move faster and compete at a higher level. With an Engineering background, Mike’s attention to precise detail reinforces his teaching of proper technique and movements.
Mike is responsible for the fundamental programs employed by Rapid. These programs are derived from cutting edge research passed down from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Mike’s expertise has given him the opportunity to work with professional and a variety of high-level athletes at the collegiate and high school levels. Mike’s training reputation has allowed him to develop relationships with the Atlanta Braves, numerous sports associations, sports agencies, scouts, orthopedics and physical therapists. With his motivation to excel, Mike’s overall vision is to provide higher level training and customer service that will exceed the athletes’ expectations.

Trevor Williams
NSCA, SPARQ
Trevor is a certified trainer through the NSCA. He graduated from Sequoyah High School where he earned four letters and all-region honors in both football and baseball. Trevor went on to play college football at Tusculum College in Greenville, TN. He is currently attending Kennesaw State University majoring in Health and Physical Education with a focus in Exercise Science. Trevor has helped develop athletes from a wide variety of sports and age groups.

Kirk Pointer
Kirk is a native of Memphis, TN where he excelled in many sports at Kingsbury High School. Being a multi-sport athlete playing football and basketball, at the completion of his senior year he was nominated to the Ronald McDonald All American High School Basketball team. As a football player, he accepted a full scholarship to play football at Austin Peay State University where to this day still holds the record for most career interceptions (16) and longest punt return in school history (86 yds). After completion of his college career, Kirk was drafted in the 4th round by the Miami Dolphins in 1996. He went on to play with great players such as Dan Marino and Zach Thomas. Kirk also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers where he was mentored by the great and future Hall of Famer Rod Woodson. Kirk has unlimited knowledge as a defensive back and the ability to get it across to the athlete. As a former athlete he can teach you proper movement skills and even provide key tips on how to read opposing players. Being a part of the Rapid team, Kirk’s ability to train athletes to increase speed and agility combined with his expertise in movement skills makes him an excellent coach to all sports.

FJ Seeba
NSCA-CPT, NASM-CPT (pending)
Earning the NSCA-CPT certification upon graduating from the National Personal Training Institue in 2009, FJ is aggressively building relationships within the sports community. During high school, FJ trained under Rapid’s founder, Mike Berenger, as he, and the entire Roswell Baseball program did for 3 straight years. His baseball background and his ability to train athletes of all sports makes him a great fit for Rapid’s Alpharetta location within the Grand Slam Baseball Center. His desire for higher education is apparent as he is closing in on achieving the NASM-CPT certification in the summer of 2009.

Anthony Steele
NASM-CPT (pending)
Anthony Steele graduated from the local Cherokee High School. Anthony was a four-year letterman in academia, baseball, basketball and football. His primary focuses were the times that he spent off the field working on speed and strength training. As a 160 lb athlete, he left school with a 4.40 second 40 yd, 300 lb bench, 410 lb squat, 35” vertical which contributed to his success. On the baseball diamond, Anthony accumulated quite the collection of accolades from being named Cherokee County Athlete of the year as a sophomore, school record holder in stolen bases, all-region, to the all-state team to winning a National Championship with Team Georgia. On the gridiron, Anthony learned to be a leader, as quarterback, captain, and all-state nomine which he led Cherokee to the Class 5A State Final Four two years in a row. His ability to excel and his passionate drive for sports performance makes Anthony an integral part of the Rapid team.
Anthony is now placing all his focus on athletic performance training in hopes to provide all athletes a chance to maximize their potential through his knowledge, dedication, and experience in athletics. From these shared experiences with clients, Anthony hopes to also better himself, build relationships, and most of all increase the client’s talent level.
